Former Cactus A319 from LAX, the golden light was made possible by AA488's 27 minute early arrival. This photo took a lot of planning. I planned to be far away from the airport enough to have the Moon look large compared to an aircraft due to the "telephoto effect". I searched the maps for potential spots where airplanes might cross the rising Moon, and eventually ended up in a Mcdonald's parking lot, and it worked out quite well.
