Very rare low-res Wing View (of retracting Fowler Flaps) from Lufthansa's Second Boeing 747, departing Frankfurt on 06Feb1974. Photo taken from a rear Port-side seat in Lufthansa Boeing 747-130 D-ABYB Cn 19747, which was taking me to Hong Kong via Athens, Kuwait, Delhi and Bangkok. D-ABYB (City of Hessen) was the first Civil Boeing 747 to crash - on 20Nov1974 at Nairobi Airport Kenya, sadly with the loss of 59 lives (RIP). Apologies for the low quality of this 1974 photo.
