This photo was taken on my first trip on a Boeing 747, from Frankfurt EDDF / FRA to Athens, Greece. Lufthansa’s second B747 was taking me from Frankfurt to Hong Kong via Athens, Kuwait, Delhi and Bangkok. D-ABYB (City of Hessen, Del: 13Apr1970) was the first Civil Boeing 747 to crash - on 20Nov1974 at Nairobi Airport Kenya, sadly with the loss of 59 lives (RIP).
