I decided not to go home right away after the Red Bull Air Race and drove to a Kmart gas station to watch this Mad Dog depart. First delivered in 1974 to Western Airlines in 1974 as N905WA, sold to Capitol Air in 1981, Hawaii Express in 1983, World Airways in 1984, Arrow Air later that year, Air Panama International in 1985, Air Hawaii later that year, American Airlines in 1986 with a registration change to N168AA, and eventually to FedEx in 1999 as N560FE.
