A unique display of the Instrument Panel of HARS Privately Registered ex-RAAF DHA Vampire T.35 VH-FJW (formerly A79-637) Cn 4159, at Albion Park Airport YWOL near Wollongong NSW, on 05May2013. The Panel is displayed on a bench, with the ‘panel owner’ aircraft in the background. The aircraft has been under long-term restoration by Volunteers at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS), based at Albion Park. The occasion was the 2013 Wings Over Illawarra (WOI) Airshow. [I photographed the RAAF Telstars Aerobatic Team Vampires (led by A79-637) flying at the 1965 Laverton Airshow. The Team was operated by Central Flying School (CFS) based at RAAF East Sale.] Low res photo.
