One of a pair of 41 Sqn Typhoons is seen here passing through the Bwlch Llyn Bach from Mynnedd Gwerngraig on the western slopes of Cadair Idris (Cad West). 41 (Test & Evaluation) Sqn, part of the Air Warfare Centre at RAF Waddington, is responsible for the development of operational tactics and the evaluation of weapons, avionics and software. (Thanks to Dan Kennedy for helping me look for my collapsible chair which had blown away…)
