First real interceptor with afterburner for Czechoslovakia Air Force was MiG-17. Versions PF were mainly assigned to 1st flights of air regiment as interceptors in antiaerial system of the state. This aircraft was delivered to 1. slp (fighter air regiment) at Ceske Budejovice in 1956 and in 1967 was transfered to 11. slp based at Zatec. After 1182 flights by units and almost 903 flight hours was in 1970 moved to museum in Praha-Kbely.
