Notes:

This spaceframe, built in 1984, was used for landing and aerodynamic tests. It never went into space. First flight was November 10, 1985. It was equipped with four AL-31 jet engines, two of them are still visible on this photo. After performing 24 flights, 18 of them fully automated it was stored at Zhukovski from 1988 till 1999. In 2000 & 2001 this shuttle was on display at Sydney, before it was brought to Bahrain. Now this Buran orbiter is on its way to the Technik Museum Speyer. Seen here on river Rhein near Dusseldorf.
