The flying police squadron of the German federal state Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) has joined the anniversary celebrations of the EMS helicopter "Christoph 26": One of their teams participated in the dynamic helicopter display with a MD 902 Explorer II. When I took this photo, the sun was already lowering itself providing a superb december evening twilight finally on this cold and windy day near the North Sea. The image depicts some addons that have been put at the nose of the MD902: A thermal image camera and some kind of infrared equipment I think.
