A shot I am very proud of and lucky to have witnessed…note the gun on the police officer. Context: During the spring high-season in Morelos (an adjacent state to Mexico City with tropical climate), police did daily operations through all major points near Cuernavaca. Their helicopter did low-pass flights ranging from small towns in rural Mexico, to major touristic destinations like Tequesquitengo lake and Cuautla. It did so every single day from early in the morning up until sunset. The trick was knowing at what time and where to place yourself (if they decided to pass nearby.) Pictured, the helicopter flying not more than 4 meters above private lake-front properties as the police waved to curious onlookers to indicate they were just patrolling and not attempting to interrupt their privacy.
