WELCOME HOME FAE898!! A great historic moment in ecuadorian aviation!!! After its delivery was postponed on more than one occasion for a period of at least 5 months, it finally arrived to Cotopaxi AFB. It departed my second homeland, Portugal, on March 18th from the OGMA maintenance workshop in Alverca Air Base (LPAR). It flew LPAR-LPLA-CYHZ-KILG-KVQQ-KNQX-SELT on delivery. Finally on March 21st after its flight from Key West and two very awesome low passes, the C130 finally arrived to Latacunga, its new home as RCH413. Inside of the cargo hold there were two new engines for the L-100 of the Ecuadorian AF, which is going to be in the air soon too. Special thanks to everyone on the Ecuadorian Air Force who made this possible!! Ex USAF 74-1689 and Afghanistan Air Force 1689. Seized by the USA Government after the return of the Taliban to the power in Afghanistan and donated to Ecuador.
