Notes:

While departing Thaden Field, the pilot noticed that the yoke was "broken" right before rotation. He aborted 3,200 feet down the 5,400 feet runway. Thaden's runway was only 4,400 feet a year ago, and the runway expansion definitely saved some chaos. The aircraft went off of the end of the runway, helping guarantee the lives of the pilot and four passengers.
