Low Res rear Port underside view of RAAF 38 Squadron DHC-4 Caribou A4-159 Cn 159 during a handling demonstration at the Bi-Centennial Airshow at RAAF Base Richmond YSRI in Oct 1988. The aircraft wears ‘three tone - Army style’ Camo livery. I first flew in this aircraft on 24May1967 - a 1.1 hour flight from Bankstown (YSBK) to RAAF Williamtown (YWLM) NSW. Senior Air Cadets of 11/1 Course, Diploma Cadet Squadron (DCS) Frognall, were travelling to Williamtown on a NSW Air Bases Tour. (A4-159 was Delivered in May1964, Callsign VM-LWK, and served in Vietnam Jul68-Jun71 with 35 Sqn. The aircraft's fuselage was at the Brisbane Airport fire dump in 2006.)
