Reproduced from a K64 slide. Moved to Alaska not long before this photo was taken. Registration remained as listed, although Great Arctic Airways is mentioned as an interest. Was a total loss following an engine fire and forced landing near Venetie, all the persons aboard surviving, on June 28th 1997. The second eldest C-54 converted to a Carvair, and the only C-54-A-1-DC converted, entered USAAF service in 1943, converted to a Carvair in 1963. Carvair conversion no. 7 of 21.
