Lying in Museum in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, this L-29 was used to train pilots for Shenyang J6 and J7 in PLAAF in 1970s. It was given to NUAA in 1973 for teaching purpose. On its left side, lying a Nanchang J12, the smallest Supersonic fighter all over the world.
