A beautiful NATO guest at Krakow Airport, the Boeing E-3A Sentry. It is a modified legendary Boeing 707. The machine is 41 years old, it was delivered to the USAF in 1979 and received registration 79-0456. In 1984 it was transferred to NATO and received the new designations LX-N90456. The plane is stationed in the German Geilenkirchen, where the NATO base is located, it stayed in Balice for a week. Interestingly, the machine is censored, especially in the Netherlands, due to noise and air pollution. They call for a change of engines or replacement with newer planes.
