[Full HD/1920px] In the end of a visit to Castelo Branco aerodrome for professional reasons, I could catch this Spanish Canadair parked up in the ramp in gorgeous sunset light. Unfortunately, that day was quite sad because EC-HET, another Canadair based in LPCB for the Firefighting Campaign of this season (Dispositivo Especial de Combate a Incêndios Rurais - DECIR 2020), impacted hilly terrain during a firefighting operation in Peneda-Gerês National Park, on the Portuguese/Spanish border, killing the Pilot, a Portuguese citizen, and causing serious injuries to the Co-Pilot, a Spanish national. May his soul rest in peace.
