[1600px] All of Hong Kong's major airline groups are represented in this shot of HKIA's midfield ramp - during what is quickly panning out to be an unprecedented ice age for the airline industry, brought about by the 2019/20 Coronavirus outbreak (the only non-HK registered aircraft is D-AALM, seen with her 007 sticker, on Taxiway K). In particular, the city's de-facto flag carrier - Cathay Pacific - was operating a skeleton schedule that resembles a mere 3% of the flights it intended to operate year on year. The land reclamation in the backdrop is the construction site of HKIA's third runway. Photo taken from the Ngong Ping 360 Rescue Trail on Lantau Island.
