[1250px] Oldie but goldie! A very special picture for me. This classic MD-82 of AA is seen slowing down on the runway at O'Hare airport. One of my oldest pictures, but I'm glad it turned out quite nice, despite the dirty airplane window I had in front of me. After 36 years of operations, American Airlines finally retired the MD-80 from the fleet on September 04th, 2019. An end of an era: AA operated more than 300 MD-80 jets! These great birds are missed...
