This was probably the very last time I saw the mighty Tristar on a mission... The Royal Air Force as retired all their L1011's from service since the A330 MRTT is already in use and for what I've been reading, these beauties will be scrapped! Notice the special markings commemorating the 30 years of service of the 216th Squadron!
