Delivered to the RAAF. on 16 August, 1957. Served with 2 SQN during the Malayan Emergency taking part in the RAAFs first jet bombing mission on 3 September, 1958. Then in Vietnam as part of the USAF 35th Tactical Fighter Wing at Phan Rang Airbase from 1967 until it returned to Darwin, Australia in 1971. Retired from active service in 1986 and is currently displayed at the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre in Queensland.
