Notes:

Prototype Aero XL-160 This type was intended as an enhancement of the serial aircraft Aero L-60 Brigadyr, which was a multipurpose machine designed to perform courier, observation, airborne and agricultural tasks. A new all-metal single-beam wing was designed in VZLU and the strut system was modified accordingly. The machine is interesting that the fuselage fully corresponds to the serial version of the military Brigadyr called K-60. Later he was made for him a new all-metal elevator. The first flight was made on 5 April 1957 by the chief pilot Ing. Rudolf Duchon. Then the machine was handed over to the State Research and Test Institute of Aviation Prague for wing testing. The aircraft then flew in the state of VZLU and VZS 031, while the service also made a production plant. Tests of agricultural equipment and special radio equipment were carried out. The Military Testing Institute VZS 031 aircraft also flew in 1966, then was handed over to the collections of the Military History Institute. Since 1967 it was one of the first exhibits of the Aviation Museum, but in 1978 it was removed from the exposition and deposited in the depository.
