A delayed UAL39, sticking to your plan (even if it means waiting in the car for over 30 minutes while playing Sudoku on your phone), the perfect weather set-up and the right traffic. All of those are contributing factors that all came together at just the right moment. The fog just need the final push, which was given by a SAS A330 that landed before this bird. The A330 ripped open the fog like I had never seen before, after which the 757 put up an awesome display on short final.
