Notes:

Terence Martin’s 1967 Wasp runs up for the photographers at the Threshold Aero Kemble night photo shoot. The Wasp first flew in 1958 as the Saunders Roe P.531 and was designed as a torpedo launch vehicle intended to attack submarines under control of the mother ship (lacking its own radar) but beyond the range of the ship’s own weapons. This one wears the colours of a wasp assigned to HMS Endurance during the Falklands campaign.
