Flew for JG400 during ww2 before being captured and sent to the RAE at Farnborough in 1945 before being sent to Brize Norton in August 45. In 1946 it was shipped to Australia with a Bf190g-6 as a gift. It was on display at RAAF point cook for many years before being transported to the AWM in 1986. It was then restored and put onto display.
