Close-cropped oblique Stbd side view of the Flight Deck of UH-1H N14SD Serial 62-12369 at Oshkosh KOSH on 26Jul2017. The aircraft was Built as a UH-1D in late 1962 or early 1963. It is believed to be the world’s Oldest Flying UH-1D/H. (There are about 1000 Hueys still flying in the world today.) Combat History: Served in Vietnam in 1966 and 1967. Training History: During the Vietnam War era served as a flight school trainer at Hunter Army Airfield, and Fort Stewart in Georgia - in and near - Savannah from Aug 1968 to Dec 1971. This Vintage Huey is Privately Owned by Dave Schmitt, who was in Flight School at Hunter and Fort Stewart from Dec 1968 to May 1969. This Iroquois Flight Deck has a Modernised Panel, with two large ‘Touch Screens’.
