Notes:
Westover was once a SAC B-52 Base, converting to C-130s in the 70s and C-5s in the late 80s. Most of the hangars were built in the SAC years, and therefore the 439th AW has to get creative hangering its C-5s - with a sandwich door around the tail! Shown here is a loaner Super Galaxy from Dover to help the 439th train as it converts from the last C-5B's over to the -M model.
