Notes:

On display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, NASM. The Uhu was one of the best night-fighters produced in World War II. Only 294 were constructed, but they achieved deadly results against Bomber Command and Mosquito intruders in the hands of aces like Werner Streib and Werner Baake. It was the world’s first operational aircraft fitted with ejection seats. This Uhu from I/NJG 1 was captured at Grove, Denmark.
