A sight I'd never thought I would get to see, an Airbus A340-500 operating for El Al! As ongoing pilot labour disputes continue to disrupt the airline's normal operations during the very busy summer months, El Al is adding leased widebody capacity, and while usually using Boeing equipment due to maintenance and operational reasons, they have added, for the first time in its history, an Airbus widebody. The A340-500 is by far the best looking Airbus in my opinion, massive yet elegant with perfect proportions and in this stunning livery an absolutely beautiful aircraft!
