This aircraft was flown by No 161 (Special Duties) Squadron, Royal Air Force . This aircraft was flown by Squadron Leader Hugh Verity on twenty missions to occupied France in 1943 to drop and pick up SOE and Resistance personnel. Post war it had civil registration of G-LIZY which was canceled in 1989. It is not restored back into WW2 colours and on display at IWM Duxford.
