Notes:

The Atlantic Glider, first time in Hungary! First flight March 17 1999 with Airbus Industrie F-WWKY test registration. Delivered Air Transat April 28. August 24 2001, night flight TSC236 from Toronto to Lisbon suffered dual engine and all-power loss due to in-flight fuel starvation, caused by fuel leak as a result of improper maintenance. With 293 passengers and 13 crew on board the flight was gliding with the minimum navigation instruments run by the ram-air turbine. Applying on the important support of the military navigation in the area, after 20 minutes of gliding, completing one 360deg. and several “S” turns, the flight reached Lajes AFB, Terceira, Azores and landed safely. The flight crew were CPT Robert Piche and F/O Dirk de Jaeger. Shortly back in service, but the same acft diverted to Dublin July 17 2015 due to smoke detected in the cabin. What we see here is a safe touchdown 31R, as completing flight TSC702 nonstop from Montreal via Toronto in the pouring rain.
