Third visit to Australia by USAF F-22A Raptors. Two Raptors - Serials 03-4051 (Cn 645-4051) and 03-4060 (Cn 645-4060), Code HH, operated by the 199th Fighter Squadron, were on static display at Avalon's 'Heavy Metal' display area during the Avalon International Airshow in Feb/Mar 2015. They were displayed with B-52H-BW 61-0015 and USN P-8A Posiedon 168761. This close cropped Front view shows Hickam (Hawaii) based Raptor 03-4051 fitted with two external tanks, with the weapon bay doors closed, on 01Mar2015. As for Avalon 2011, the F-22As were not flown during the 2015 airshow. But, at Avalon 2013, Raptors 09-4173 and 10-4194 did spectacular flying displays (also expected but not delivered in 2015, because the Squadron's only qualified display Pilot was unavailable.)
