Notes:

2013’s RAF Tucano display aircraft was painted in 1940s desert camouflage colours – Mid Stone, Dark Earth and Azure Blue – to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of 72 Sqn’s service in the North African and Mediterranean theatres of operations with Spitfires. The display pilot was Flt Lt Andy Fyvie-Rae, who is seen here during his display at the RAF Cosford Air Show. (I won the Cosford Air Show photo competition with this image, which appeared in the 2014 show programme.)
