The PT-19 was a monplane, primary trainer aircraft used by the US, British and Canadian air forces during World War II. It served as Primary Flight Trainer for introducing new pilots to flying before they were moved on to the Kaydet. Pictured here is the PT-19A variant which was the PT-19 but powered by a 200hp engine. This was the mostly produced variant with over 3200 of them being built. [1600px]
