Static display at "Century Circle" located at the west entrance to Edwards AFB. The YC-15 made her first flight on August 26 1975. This AMST (Advance Medium STOL Transport) was able to take off with 12'000kg on a 610m long runway. Later, the developpment of the C-17 was based on the YC-15 reducing the costs for the US Air Force and for Boeing who was the owner of this project.
