[1200 px] This is one of the 8 Air India Boeing 777-200LRs. Bought with the aim of starting non stop flights to US, Air India wasn't successful in starting off all the planned non stops due to high fuel prices & the recession of 2008/09, though AI does operate to EWR/JFK/YYZ/ORD. Now with the 787s being delivered, they would replace these 200LRs on the flagship routes as AI plans to get rid of 5 of these. This bird features a F8C35Y195 configuration & was delivered on 03-03-2008. This is named 'Haryana' after a state in Northern India.
