Notes:

Aircraft belonging the 27Sqn of the IAF called "Flaming Arrows" and based at Gorakhpur. The SEPECAT Jaguar is defined as a deep penetrating strike aircraft by the Indian Airforce. Although retired by the British and French Air Forces following the arrival of Typhoon and Rafale, this aircraft is execpted to be in active service with the IAF in the forseeable future. It saw action in the Kargil war dropping bombs. Also visible is the Honeywell F125 engine which is going to be fitted on 120 Jaguars as part of an upgrade process to improve performance at medium altitudes. Photo dedicated to fellow aviation enthusiast Bala Vignesh Medha whose knowledge of the IAF is just amazing.
