Manufactured 1986 on order of the government of Zimbabwe. First flight on December 18 1986, delivered on October 13 1987 as Z-WPD. To Air Zimbabwe on January 1 1989, where Zimbabwe Express Airlines leased from, between August 1995 and February 1999 with unchanged registration. She used to be a massive workhorse of the – then very friendly – country’s domestic and regional commercial aviation. I had the opportunity to fly with this particular plane in April 1994 on the Harare – Kariba – Hwange route. WFU and stored 2006. Scanned from an old slide.
