"Johannesberg" soaring out over Dockweiler Beach bound for Amsterdam as KLM 602 LAX-AMS. I can remember the last time I photographed this bird being on Dockweiler Beach looking up at her….It’s very nice to be spotting from a birds eye view. Dedicated to my good friend Nicholas Young who joined me up in the air on this day.

Great angle! Looks like they just overshot the runway and splashed her into the ocean! Good optical illusion.
