Notes:

Port side front view of the Replica of Bert Hinkler’s (unregistered) home-built glider on display in The Aviator’s Store at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, Bundaberg on 26Dec2008. I also photographed this glider at the Tourist Information Centre, on Bourbong Street Bundaberg, in March 1982. Bert designed and built the glider in 1911, when he was 19 years old. He flew it at Mon Repos Beach Queensland (now known for turtle nesting) on 24Mar1911 and 06Apr1912. Hence, the historic original aircraft was last flown over 100 years ago. Other aircraft Bert Hinkler built and/or flew are now displayed in Bundaberg.
