This F-4E Phantom II, which flew for the 35th TFS, 3rd TFW at George AFB, Ca. was credited with a MiG kill (note the red star on the splitter plate) on September 12, 1972. It is now preserved at Soesterberg with "CR"-code to represent a "Wolfhounds" bird.
