Jeff Trappett imported this ex-USN Boeing Model N2S-3 (B75N1) Stearman / Kaydet (Cn 75-7315) in 1982. Fitted with a Continental R-670-4 engine, it was the first Stearman to fly in Australia, Registered in April 1982. VH-AGR was painted in USAAF silver/grey livery when I flew in the plane on 30Dec1982. Registration VH-AGR is now on CA-25 Winjeel A85-444, also owned by Jeff Trappett. The Stearman was later sold and Re-Registered VH-PUD. It is now at Tyabb, restored for present owner Barry Gwynne.
