Port side view of Spitfire Mk VIII VH-HET (painted as A58-602, Code RG-V), Named 'Grey Nurse', rolling out on Rwy 12 after participating in a Heritage Formation flight which mixed WWII piston engined fighters with Jet fighters, at the Williamtown Airshow on 19Sep2010. The dark olive drab and grey camouflage livery works well with Australian Eucalyptus (gum) tree background. Note the 'rainbow' colors where the engine exhaust has stained the forward fuselage. VH-HET is actually ex-RAAF A58-758, which was the last Mk VIII Spitfire delivered to the RAAF (ex MV239) in April 1945.
