With his second plane, in the summer of 1912, at the Aspern-Viena international air show, in some of the most famous pilots company, Aurel Vlaicu gained first place for hitting with a projectile a designated target from 300 m high and second place for accurate landing, after French pilot Roland Garros. This is a scale built replica preserved at the Romanian Air Force Museum, Bucharest.
