Notes:
This is no normal touch down shot, as you may recognize. Z-BVT came into runway 07R at 15:15 local time as SMJ597. The MD-11F from Khartoum, Sudan had a tire burst on the left main gear seconds after touch down, we heard a remarkable bang followed by the gray smoke. Fire services rushed to the high speed turnoff (K5) within half a minute to inspect the gear parts, and it taxied to the cargo ramp after the fire fighters had confirmed there were no more flame or smoke coming out from the gears. Another MD-11F that Avient owns, Z-BAV, crashed in Shanghai-Pudong on 28 November 2009.
