After a fantastic two week stay down under it was time for me to make my way home to the UK. Unlike most people i had decided to fly via American and the Pacific/Atlantic and not via Asia. Departing on a Qantas 'Extended Range' 744 we started our long journey accross to the pacific ocean to LAX. A very weird flight to fly due to the face that crossing the international dateline means you arrive in LA on the same day as you departed Sydney about 5 hours before you left.
