The aircraft is beautifully painted in WWII 3 Squadron RAAF Desert Camouflage livery (representing Bobby Gibbes aircraft), which hides the aircraft well with an Australian eucalyptus (gum) tree background. This photo (along with others) was uploaded as a tribute to the late Col Pay, who died in an aircraft accident at Lake Liddell, near Muswellbrook NSW on 07Dec2007. Condolences are extended to his family and friends.
