The N3-M4-N1 junction is right over the Mithi river and is a perennial repair problem for the airport operator at Mumbai. With the normal N1 taxiway closed for emergency repairs, all aircraft were forced to use N3 resulting in a small traffic jam at the already congested Mumbai airport.
