Built in 1978 for PSA as N555PS it first flew from the Renton Factory in 04.05.78 and was del. to the Californian carrier in 16.05.78. Its next operator was Piedmont Airlines in 30.10.84. When this carrier was merged with US Air it was registred N750US in 05.08.89. It then went briefely to American Trans Air in 12.95 and was aquired by Kitty Hawk Air Cargo and converted to a freighter in 10.96. It went to RIO Linhas Aéreas in 05.11.09 as its second B722F after PR-RLJ which coincidentaly was the next 727 on the production run built by Boeing.
