Rare low res Rear View of Vampire A79-659 at RAAF Base Point Cook in Mar 1983. (The flaps and speed brakes are shown deployed.) The Vampire was displayed outdoors in a line of RAAF Museum aircraft. A79-659 was Delivered in Feb 1960, and was an Instructional Airframe after Retirement. She is now with Jeff Trappett at Latrobe Valley, Victoria. (Point Cook is the Birthplace of the RAAF, formed on 31Mar1921.) Apologies for quality of this 27 year old photo.
